Lackawanna GOP and Bob Cordaro are BACK(wards)
The Lackawanna County GOP just signed their death warrant. They brought Bob Cordaro back and put him on the ballot, for what ... the 8th time?
I don't care who wins this election, but this is a bad political move.
This election is set to be about ethics and corruption because so many of our local politicians (or "pols") can't stay on the straight and narrow...
This move by the GOP just hands the defining issue of the race to the Democratic ticket. Cordaro will spend the next month or two defending himself in court and in the papers trying to stay in office and stay on the ballot.
A few days ago, Roderick speculated that the Democrats might be scared of Cordaro because they were not releasing their poll. I think that is pretty silly. Their strategy of keeping the election all about Cordaro is working and will continue to work, mainly because Bobby likes to talk about himself more than anyone else.
At least the crazy political fireworks should be entertaining this fall.

First Post
This is my first post. I am still working on layout and design, so bare with me, as some changes are likely.
I intend this to be a blog of my thoughts, rants, and general muckraking on various topics, mainly NEPA and PA topics, but mostly generally on anything I damn well please.
Regards from Scranton.
